Maggie and the Ferocious Beast Maggie! He Did It Again! Oscar Stop Splashing Beast

Hogwarts!
The very outset shot of the new trailer gives the states a glimpse of that beloved castle – so we tin safely presume we volition exist stepping into the halls of Hogwarts once again, like we did in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. The two Albus Dumbledores!
This was a pleasant surprise – while we expected to come across the younger Dumbledore feature in this film (the title does include his name after all), information technology was fun to see the Albus Dumbledore that we all recognise from the Harry Potter films too. Information technology was interesting to see the wizard he is and the wizard he somewhen becomes. And of course – the beard progression!
Hogsmeade!
We would recognise those sloping snow-capped roofs anywhere. Newt and Theseus appear to be making a trip to Hogsmeade to find Albus Dumbledore. But why are they meeting him at that place? And volition there be Butterbeer?
Is that Aberforth nosotros see?
Newt and Theseus might exist looking for Albus Dumbledore, just first they come across some other member of the family instead. The inside of that pub looks very similar the inside of the Hog's Caput, and we all know who works there. And as he introduces himself as Dumbledore'southward brother, we retrieve information technology is safe to assume that this is the one and but Aberforth. He definitely looks more rugged and coincidental than his older sibling, which is very much in keeping with what we already knew about his character. Nosotros wonder what role he has to play in the story.

Mads Mikkelsen has arrived! In this prototype, Grindelwald is looking very dapper with his suit and necktie, but there is no doubt he still cuts a menacing effigy. We do know that he is holding the Elderberry Wand – we'd recognise its distinctive shape anywhere. But what is he doing with information technology? Is he pulling a memory from the person in front of him?
Pickett is back! And where are he and Newt trekking?
We are thrilled to see our favourite Bowtruckle is back, and he looks equally though he's thoroughly involved in this new adventure. We briefly see him and his favourite wizard, Newt, trekking through what could exist a jungle or a rainforest. What has brought them there? Where are they going? And why are they all on their own?
Bunty is here! It looks like she might be in Germany…
We only saw her briefly in The Crimes of Grindelwald, but Bunty is back! Is that Newt'southward case with his magical menagerie that she is carrying? Nosotros know she is part of the team who are planning to take down Grindelwald, but where is she going? The sign behind her would suggest she might be somewhere in Germany.
Is that Nurmengard?
Nosotros briefly saw Nurmengard at the very end of the last moving picture – with Grindelwald, Acceptance and Queenie all being there. We know that before it was a prison, it was a place that Grindelwald inhabited. Will we become to come across a little flake more of this sinister construction… and who might be inside?
New members of the squad!
Besides as some familiar faces fighting Grindelwald, there are a couple of characters who are new members of that team too! The 'descendant of a very former wizarding family', is Leta Lestrange'south half-brother Yusuf Kama. The witch we see is besides somebody we take briefly met earlier in The Crimes of Grindelwald, a professor at Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Eulalie "Lally" Hicks – we look that she's no slouch when it comes to magic.
Where are they all travelling to?
Nosotros catch a glimpse of a (rather stylish) train racing through a snowy scene. On board we spy Newt, Jacob, Lally, Kama, Theseus and fifty-fifty Bunty. Where are they all headed? And why have they all joined forces with one some other? We know that they are the team that Dumbledore has assembled to stop Grindelwald, simply we are curious why he would choose this ragtag grouping for such a task.
Acceptance (or possibly Aurelius Dumbledore?) has a new look
Is that a phoenix that is flying towards Credence? Is that a sign that Grindelwald wasn't lying to him, and he is, in fact, Aurelius Dumbledore, as was revealed at the end of the last moving picture? Phoenixes are meant to be fatigued to that family unit. All the same, all that aside, the nearly of import affair we spy in this clip is Credence's new hairdo. Just wait at those long, flowing locks! He looks far removed from the scared immature human we met in the offset instalment.
A bittersweet Jacob and Queenie moment
Oh, Jacob and Queenie. We dear these two but by the end of the last moving picture, they couldn't have been further abroad from one another. Does this clip advise a blink of hope for the pair? They appear to be standing in Jacob's bakery – yet their expressions don't really suggest a joyful reunion. Or is this a flashback to a time earlier Queenie joined Grindelwald's crusade? We practice believe we've seen that pink ensemble earlier… Though their relationship seems to have everything stacked against them, we can't help but root for these two.
Dumbledore holding the blood adjuration he made with Grindelwald
We know that Dumbledore was unable to motion confronting Grindelwald because of this blood oath. Luckily Newt's resourceful Niffler managed to swipe it from the Nighttime sorcerer at the end of the last film. Can Dumbledore destroy it? Does he even desire to? And if he does, will he be willing to go up against someone he once cared so deeply for?
Newt and Theseus showing off their best moves!
Newt and Theseus announced to exist in some kind of cave surrounded by crab-similar creatures. Are they Burn down Venereal or something else entirely? Nosotros must say, we are really enjoying the pair of them pulling out their best crabwalk. This could be a whole new trip the light fantastic toe craze – if merely Theseus would acquire to swivel a bit more delicately.
Jacob with a wand!
Our favourite Muggle has a wand! Information technology can't be real… can it? However, he does seem to exist wielding information technology. While we know that Dumbledore asked Newt to give it to him – nosotros don't know the reason behind that conclusion. He as well appears to be going up confronting Queenie – but is he fighting her or trying to get closer to her? Surely, he's not casting 'Accio Queenie'! Any is going on, he doesn't look very happy about the situation.
Queenie seems to have embraced the darkness
The whimsical and sweet Queenie seems to be long gone. Instead, she looks steely and determined and is maybe the one causing the magical disturbance hither. Her wardrobe has too gone from sugary and pastel hues to black – is this a sign that she has fully embraced Grindelwald and Dark magic? Although this more than gothic style is fabulous to expect at – nosotros also hope the Queenie that we know and love hasn't been lost entirely.
Oh no! Dumbledore and Credence appear to be fighting
If this clip is anything to go by, Grindelwald has managed to get inside Credence's head. Why else would he be fighting Dumbledore? Has Dumbledore moved away from wanting to protect Credence? Or is he merely defending himself from an assail? And how did the pair of them get to this point?
What is this behemothic cylinder and where is it taking people?
The only thing we know about this mysterious object is that it is in a 'room we require' according to Newt – surely this is a reference to the famous Room of Requirement at Hogwarts? Simply even and so, what information technology is for? But Dumbledore seems to know. The one approximate we could make about it, is that information technology might exist some course of transportation? Both Dumbledore and Jacob seemed to be sucked up into the swirling cylinder – but where on earth did they go?
The other curious thing we noticed was the circle of cases that happen to look just like Newt's. Is his in that location? Does that explain why Bunty had i that looked similar his? Was information technology in fact a decoy? And what is the significance of placing them in front of this object?
What is this beast? And who does it have in its clutches?
In this shot, information technology looks like we're encountering a new creature, soaring through a rainforest or jungle expanse. It'southward non similar anything we accept come across before. It'southward like a cross betwixt a bird and a dinosaur with magnificent red wings. At the very least, it'southward no Muggle creature. It appears to take someone in the clutches of its long tail likewise. Who is that? Could it be Newt? And where are they? Surely there are more than appropriate methods of transportation...
Jacob at Hogwarts!
Finally, we are ridiculously excited to meet Jacob eating a meal in the Great Hall of Hogwarts. He looks to be deep in conversation with some Hogwarts students – and he is still holding his wand! Nosotros wonder whether he is the only Muggle to step foot within this famous castle? Hogwarts is famously subconscious from those without magic, so what exception was made for Jacob?
